Now What?
Hi, i've had guild wars since it came out last year and I played through the game as a warrior and a ranger, and eventually completed the missions. Then I learned about solo farming and all the wonderful things it can do for your wallet. Then school started and I completely stopped playing gw for the whole year, because of homework and stuff. During this summer I bought factions, completed it, and was bored. So I thought, hell why don't I buy some 15k armor sets? So I farmed and farmed until I bought two sets.
And here I am.
I really don't know what to do now. I have no urge to get into serious pvp, or buy fow armor. The quests in gw basically ammount to text boxes telling you to to go to certain locations with that little green arrow and kill random things, this doesn't really interest me. So is that it? Am I done with guild wars? I can't think of anything I should do. I'm wondering why some of you veterans keep playing the game?

Well...depends really.
If you dont pvp or want to invest in more vanity things, theres always your other players.
Invest time and gold in other players in your guild and help them become stronger players.

Give me all your items and gold. It'll give you an excuse to farm some more.

Yea, I've pretty much reached a point where I don't find much motivation to do a lot of things anymore. I currently have 3 accounts, at least one lvl 20 ascended character with 15k armor of each profession with a couple others to spare (got 3 rangers just cuz they're my favorite class), I have just about every kind of weapon that I could want for any of my characters and I don't see Fissure as anything I really have the desire to get. Now I pretty much just mess around and help out guildmates. While I'm not a big PvP person, I do dabble in it from time to time. I'm just hoping Nightfall will spark my interests once again.

ive also reaced that point in time (i did along time ago but i stayed for the heck out if playing of char over and over again)
but until the ppl who dont want to pvp i dont a lot now (im r3 atm or close to it)
here is my sugesstion try going back in time to oh..maybe playing diablo 2 online (battlenet) and yes ppl still do play it. i personally have moved back to it seeing as i have a lvl 90 amazon w8ing for me (or maybe it got deleted....)
but anyway try playing some more char or buying 15k armor for all of your char not just some of them..i've tried it (15k armor for both my necros, 15k + fow helm for my war, 15k for my ele, 15 for monk, 15k for my rit...that kept me playing for about another half month or so :P

Play some Alliance Battles. It's PvP, but it's not the serious, hard-core stuff found in GvG & HA.
(It's really hard to take ABs too seriously because you never know what kind of group you'll end up with. )

If you don't like any type of PvP at all ( AB, GvG, Arenas, HA, Fort, Jade..), and you don't want to archive some vanity items like rare weapons, FoW armors, then yeah, you should take a break from GW to wait for Nightfall IMO.

this game is meant to be taken in bites and enjoyed while you play it.
when you reach the point that you have to look for some reason to play, or you force yourself to play you should take a break with something else.
as long as needed until something catches your interest again like NIGHTFALL, HALLOWEEN, WINTERSDAY, or you just feel like playing again.
the vacation costs you not a penny and the account will wait for you without a single complaint.
